Dror Yaron is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at 412x972, developing partnerships between Pittsburgh and Israeli companies to promote efforts in a variety of areas, including well-being and sustainability in education, healthcare, and the workplace.
Yaron is the founder and principal at Ethics Coach, a Carnegie Mellon University spin-off helping purpose-driven business leaders to innovate more boldly and deepen their positive societal impact. For twelve years at the CMU Robotics Institute, he facilitated conversations and coached professionals in education and other fields looking to build context-driven, purposeful tech practices.
Following a military service training human-resources professionals for the Israeli army, Dror worked as a journalist for the Shoken Network in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Herzliya. Dror studied at the International Center of Photography in New York. He moved to Pittsburgh in 2003. Before joining CMU, he led the photography studio at the Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild youth program.
