Remy is a two-time entrepreneur. She founded Intelafunds in 2003 an education technology consulting firm that provided strategic technology and E-Rate services to K-12 schools nationwide. Her 2nd endeavor petperennials.com is an online pet sympathy gift company inspired by her dog, Olive.
Remy joined DQE Communications in 2023 to strategically align and further develop the SLED vertical which includes K-12 education customers along DQE's 4755 mile fiber footprint.
Remy has been volunteering with Make-A-Wish for 27 years. One of the projects she is proudest of is the World War II biography The Trunk that she wrote about her maternal grandfather an Army soldier and POW captured during the Battle of the Bulge. She has been working with an editor in Chicago and intends to publish the book in the future
